Your builders
The team at Kingsbury Construction aren’t just builders, they’re craftsmen. Handpicked by our director Phil, they’re chosen for their attention to detail, their impeccable work ethic and, of course, their brazen good looks.

Kingsbury Construction is the brainchild of family man Phil Kingsbury, an architect-turned-builder with a passion for detail.
Although talented in Architecture and design (first class honours no less), it was the hands-on building experience that led him home to the South to launch his building company in Queenstown, NZ.
Together with his wife Averil, and their 3 mini site inspectors, they run Kingsbury Construction. Phil’s been known to ‘stop by’ a construction site after hours to pick up a tool and return home three hours later (still married, no divorce in sight).
With the impressive combo of architect and builder, your home is in safe, meticulous hands.
Did someone just say ‘ecclectic’? WE DID. Our latest project is what happens when a craft beer brewer meets an art teacher and designs a house together.
This unique home is an air tight, low energy home with solar panels. Gorgeous gable ceilings with easy plan open living and glimpses of lake views.
Located right on the waterfront in the beautiful Kelvin Peninsula, this was an extensive renovation project we were eager to sink our teeth into.
Currently underway, we can’t wait to see it completed because of its outstanding features. Our favourites? The charred timber cladding, timber decking on all four levels, in ground garage with parking on top and panoramic views of Lake Wakatipu. Dreamy!
